We are now seeking a Renewal Contract Manager to compliment our best in class renewals team. In this role you will be responsible for delivering market leading subscription renewal rates: having responsibility for renewal pricing, organic expansion, deal negotiation and forecasting.
Develop and execute win/win negotiation strategies that maximize contract value while protecting and enhancing customer trust.
Own, drive and manage the renewals process for your aligned book of business
Verify contracts, review terms and conditions and work closely with Finance team to ensure all contracts information are accurate
Fully understand adoption data for each customer (working closely with the customer aligned CSM) and develop a clear renewal strategy
Prepare proposals, including renewal rate calculations and respond to questions from customers on any aspect of a renewal
Maximize account growth opportunities at the time of Renewals
Identify customer requirements, uncover roadblocks, escalate and solicit leadership involvement as required to drive on-time renewal closure
Uncover trends in subscription automation practices that can improve the renewal workflow
Propose and build processes that will aid in automation of renewal workflow
Accurately maintain/update a rolling 120 day forecast
Work reactively on customer cancellation requests
5+ years of demonstrated success in renewals, sales operations, or account management in a SaaS environment with strong focus on contract negotiation
3+ years experience with deals restructuring and negotiating complex multi-year contracts
Strong negotiation and objection handling skills that allow for value-based contract negotiations at the CXO level
Strong customer management skills, written communication, forecasting and analytical skills
Aptitude for and interest in workflow processes and automation
Willingness and desire to take on additional tasks or pilot projects that are beneficial to the department or to the organization
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and prior experience with modelling and analysis preferred
