About the Job
As our Head of Marketing Revenue Operations and Analytics you will join as an experienced data driven leader that is accountable to reporting on overall marketing results and revenue impact. Reporting directly to the CMO, you will build the foundation for what marketing operations and analytics should look like at Teamwork and work to establish a cross functional revenue operations squad throughout the business. You are equal parts ruthless in data accuracy and obsessed with tying impact to revenue and results. You aren’t afraid to dig into the data but also understand the importance of where we should be investing and scaling our team to achieve our goals. Some responsibilities include:
Defines the marketing revenue operations vision and strategy. Includes owning the marketing infrastructure, execution, and metrics that will measure the overall revenue impact of our channels and campaigns.
Lead the strategy and creation of the overall Marketing Operations and Analytics roadmap to reduce inefficiencies and enable marketers to be more effective in their day to day work through process improvement and technology implementation
Build and lead a growing Marketing Operations and analytics team: this will be a combination of hiring in house talent and outsourced functions
Partner with cross functional analytics teams to define the CMO dashboard, Marketing health metrics, and Key Performance Indicators for the marketing funnel and revenue impact. Consistently report on this to business leadership
Own our automation platform and processes, helping to ensure that best practices for data management, workflow automation, program execution and reporting are consistently implemented and adapted.
Creates processes of alignment between sales, finance, product, marketing, and customer success teams so that all teams are reporting on consistent and reliant data
Ensures marketing technology is consistently evaluated and meets the needs of our growing team
Create and maintain metrics reports on marketing activities, effectiveness, and ROI, and develop insights and recommendations on areas for optimization.
Optimize lead/account scoring and routing methodology to ensure quality leads are passed to sales development to increase efficiencies and conversion rates
Monitor and maintain data quality within our MAP and CRM
Evaluate new technologies to improve and optimize go-to-market team performance
7+ years of experience in a similar role.
Analytical, evidence-based, able to understand and utilize data from multiple sources to formulate reports and presentations that communicate marketing insights.
Exceptional people management and leadership skill and the ability to grow and retain a high performing team.
Direct experience and a thoughtful approach to what Marketing Revenue Operations should like in a growing SaaS environment; including key KPIs and performance metrics.
Deep understanding of demand generation, revenue attribution, and customer lifecycleStrong analytical skills, proficiency in marketing measurement and reporting.
Demonstrated expertise in defining, implementing and maintaining reports and analytics to track lead flow, conversion revenue attribution and related KPIs.
Critical thinker, you don't take directives at face value, you consider the task at hand, offering constructive feedback to improve processes.
Strong understanding of marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and other marketing and sales technologies (analytics tools, Marketo, CRM, Intercom, etc.
Proficiency in Analytics tools (Google analytics, Google Datastudio, BI tools)Collaborative and friendly, and comfortable working in a global remote environment
